What is The Hive?
The Hive officially started in January 2019 after we recognised the need to create a safe and inspiring space dedicated to creativity in our area. We are all creative – yes even you! Sometimes we just need a little support or time or space to practise, learn, experiment and have some fun.
The Hive relocated in 2022 and is a partner of the Leatherhead Community Hub, in the North Leatherhead Community Centre, Kingston Road.
It is managed by Marion and the space has two sides, one dedicated to textiles: knitting, sewing, patchwork, and quilting.. you name it! The other side is for art: painting, drawing, writing, card making, lino printing etc
We’re so pleased that The Hive has become a buzzing community space and we are overjoyed by what people have made, crafted and created. We want to see the space filled with all kinds of creativity, colour and beauty. Come along and say hi!
